About Matsho A Ka
What I am currently doing with my small business
Currently I’m running my business at home using domestic sewing machine, which doesn’t allow me to do big projects. This year I made aprons and their matching Doaks to show case at the Grahamstown Art Festival. Next, I’m planning to show case at Isingqhi Festival Fashion Show. Showcasing my designs for African wear.
If I acquired funding this is how I would expand my small business
I would buy me straight industrial machine, overlocker industrial machine and embroidery machine. With these machines I can do so much more and improve my business. They would help with the designs that I would like to produce but can’t with my domestic machine.
How will funding impact my small business
In future I would like to do pop-up shops at Malls and other marketplaces and do more of showcasing my work at Festivals at large.
