What I am currently doing with my small business

CURRENTLY I AM ENROLLING MY SELF FOR A SEWING COURSE AT AL FIDAA FOUNDATION FOR A PERIOD OF SIX MONTHS , FOR THE PURPOSE OF OPERATING A PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS WITH A CORRESPONDING QUALIFICATION. AT THE SAME TIME I USE WEEKENDS TO SEW GARMENTS THAT I SELL LOCALY. WITH THE EXPERIENCE THAT I GAIN EVERYDAY, I BELIEVE THAT I AM ABLE TO READ A PATTERN AND SEW A GARMENT FROM SCRATCH TO FINISH. THE KIND OF GARMENTS THAT I SEW ARE PHINIFA’S AND SCHOOL TRACK SUITS FOR LOCAL PRIMARY SCHOOL. I ALSO ACCEPT ORDERS FROM CUSTOMERS THAT WILL ORDER ACCORDING TO THEIR OWN DESIGNS. FOR NOW MY BUSINESS IS STILL ON A START UP PHASE, I USE MY HOME SPACE AS MY BUSINESS LOCATION WITH THE AIM OF GROWING AND RENTING A SPACE IN A PLACE WITH A BIG MARKET.

If I acquired funding this is how I would expand my small business

AS MY BUSINESS IS STILL SMALL, IF I WERE TO ACQUIRE THIS FUNDING. I WILL EXPAND BY, FIRSTLY RESEARCHING FOR A PLACE THAT HAS A LOT OF MARKETING FOR MY BUSINESS. AND IF I DO FIND ONE, THEN I WILL SETTLE FOR A RENTING SPACE TO USE AS MY OPERATING SPACE. FROM THERE I WOULD BE ABLE TO START MARKETING MY BUSINESS AND IF POSSIBLE I WILL USE OTHER MARKETING PLATFORMS TO GATHER DIFFERENT CUSTOMERS.AS I AM CURRENTLY OPERATING USING A SMALL HAND MACHINE THIS FUNDING WILL ALLOW ME A CHANCE OF PURCHASING NECESSARY EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS THAT I NEED TO COMPLETE MY DAILY ORDERS. THESE EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS WITH THEIR COSTS INCLUDE: • 1 FLAT MACHINE R7500 • 1 OVERLOCK MACHINE R8000 • CUTTING SCISSORS AND THREAD CUTTERS R1000 • PATTERN PAPER R1500 • FABRIC MATERIALS R3000 • DIFFERENT KINDS OF COTTON THREADS AND TREAMS R4000 THESE EQUIPMENTS IN ALL MAKE A TOTAL OF R25000 ALREADY I HAVE DONE MY SEARCH AND QUOTED THE MACHINES AND CUTTING TOOLS AT MC THOMPSON, THEY ARE LOCATED IN DURBAN ON UMBILO ROAD. THE OTHER MATERIALS THEY ARE A VARIETY OT STORES SELLING THEM AROUND DURBAN WITH SIMILAR PRICES.

How will funding impact my small business

THIS FUNDING WILL GROW MY BUSINESS AND IT WILL ALLOW ME TO TAKE BIG NUMBERS OF ORDER. WITH THIS FUNDING I WILL ALSO BE ABLE TO APPROACH BIG COMPANIES FOR CONSTRUCTION WEAR ORDERS BECAUSE CURRENTLY I FEAR THAT IF I DO GET ORDERS FROM COMPANIES I WONT BE ABLE TO DELIVER IN TIME WITH THE LIMITED WORKING RESOURCES THAT I HAVE.
