FundMyGap Terms, Conditions and Requirements for participation

  1. To help us operate safely and securely, our payment processes deduct the following:
  • A transaction fee per donation (10% for admin and mentoring costs).
  • The standard transaction fee for PayFast is 3.5% plus R 2.00 will be deducted automatically from all donations; the person receiving funds will receive all funds raised minus these transaction fees directly from Fingap. The transaction fee covers the costs of credit and debit charges, safely delivering donations.
  1. All donations will be maintained by Fingap and transferred to the relevant registered FundMyGap profile based on the following:
  • Fingap will have the full authority to evaluate all registered profiles and request quarterly reports on the progress of businesses.
  • Fingap reserves the right to distribute all donations based on their discretion.
  • FinGap has sole discretion in rejection of candidate’s suitability to donor funds based on Fingaps policy of assistance and mentoring to ensure Donors funds are used for designated projects of success
  1. Fingap reserves the right to advertise all FundMyGap registered business profiles including their successes on the Fingap website.

  1. Once a donation has been made, all monies are kept in trust by FinGap to ensure the monies are spent as designated.
  2. All donations designated for a specific FundMyGap profile will be allocated accordingly and will be based on the criteria set out in the terms and conditions (FundMyGap Terms, Conditions and Requirements for participation) by FinGap.
  3. Should the FundMyGap applicant to whom a donation was made, not fulfill the Terms and Conditions set out to them, an alternate suitable candidate will be sourced that complies with the set Terms and Conditions, all donated monies will be then be transferred accordingly and you as the Donor will be informed of this change.
