What I am currently doing with my small business

My name is Sesethu Mgqwanci, I am currently a studnet at Al Fidaa Foundation doing a one month course in baking. I am aiming at starting my own baking business when I finish the course, which I will be graduating from on the 28th of Novemeber 2023. At home I will be making small cookies, scones, and cakes to sell as a start up. Once my business picks up, I will then look for a much bigger space where I can make larger orders. My business will pick up by word of mouth, and social media.

If I acquired funding this is how I would expand my small business

I intend to expand my business by making posters, whatsapp advertisement which will lead to word of mouth, and other social media platforms. Now that it is festicve seasaon, I will be targetting that people who will be having weddings at my local church, funerals and other events and occassions that will be requiring cakes, scones and bsicuits. Though I beleive once I acquire funding, I will be able to expand properly and cater to more clientelle outside of my area as I will be making more money and be able to make delieveries.

How will funding impact my small business

It will help me a great deal as it will be helping me to buy good equipment to assist me with my work and I can decorate cakes and cupcakes, mix larger quantities of products at a faster pace than I would have than if I had done it manually.
