What I am currently doing with my small business

I am currently running on a small scale, catering and supplying my product to households and one established food/takeaway business outlet which is a set order on a weekly basis .I am currently working on my own with no assistance and the demand for my product is growing daily. The demand for my product has grown mostly by word of mouth and continues to grow.

If I acquired funding this is how I would expand my small business

With the necessary funding, I would be able to increase the volume of production by attaining the necessary industrial tools required to produce my Koeksisters such as an industrial mixer as i have had to purchase and replace the home mixer 4 times already as it cannot handle the volume that i am putting through. A double fryer to be able to handle the volume, a large chest freezer to store and preserve my product and the installation of a small aircon to control the quality of the product as temperature plays an important role in the quality of the product as its main ingredient is yeast. I will also be able to employ at least two people to assist with putting out the volumes required and in time employ more as the business grows. As my small business has grown by word of mouth mostly, it will also afford me the opportunity to expand on advertising through various platforms

How will funding impact my small business

Funding my small business will allow me to put out more volumes of my product to more business outlets, produce a high standard of koeksister, able to afford employment for an unemployed , at same time allowing them to be financially empowered by earning a wage making a small difference in our huge unemployment rates in SA as I believe every bit however small makes a difference. Also allows me to empower myself to make a success of a business that started off as an idea and is developing into a dream come true
